Department of Creative Industries

The Department of Creative Industries is a pioneering unit of the Faculty of "Applied Sciences and Creative Industries" at Barleti University in the fields of creative and cultural industries that explores the connection of creative practices applied in real market contexts to create products and providing services. The purpose of the department is to create the incentives, culture and resources needed to enable students to turn into skilled and innovative practitioners and entrepreneurs in the field of creative industries.

The study programs offered by the department are based on creative methods of education as well as industry-related practices, proactively responding to the market. The department aims at "thinking through creation", and in this context, the organization of learning methods and experiences such as creative competitions, workshops, projects with the sector and the creative industry will help the formation of creative ideas and practical skills. The department is composed of a diverse group of experts with academic experience, mentors and industry-based guest speakers. Through the diversity of the program, courses and different profiles, the department aims to create a theoretically rich experience, interdisciplinary and suitable for the market today and tomorrow, which will equip the new generations of creators with the necessary skills and attitudes in order to become an important part and factor in the creative industries.
Bachelor

The programs of the first cycle of Bachelor studies last 3 academic years, with a load of 180 credits. The integrated programs are 300 * or 360 * credits and the normal duration is 5 or 6 academic years.

Master of Science

The programs in the second cycle of Master of Science studies last 2 academic years with a load of 120 credits.

Professional Master

The programs in the second cycle of Professional Master studies last 1 or 2 academic years with a load of 60 or 120 credits.

Professional Diploma

Professional programs are up to 2 academic years after upper secondary education, with a load of up to 120 credits.
